Mojácar
Mojácar is one of the most recognisable destinations on the Almería coast: a maze of whitewashed houses on the mountainside, with views over the Mediterranean and an atmosphere blending Moorish tradition, art and international tourism.
The old town keeps narrow streets, viewpoints, galleries and charming terraces. Down on the coast — Mojácar Playa — you reach more than 17 km of beaches: Ventanicas, Descargador, El Cantal and others with beach bars, water sports and nightlife in season.
From Garrucha it is a short trip by taxi, car or bus. Ideal for a half-day excursion or dinner in the historic centre without straying too far from your berth.

Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park
Some 25–30 miles to the east, one of Spain's most protected land-and-sea areas. Coves such as San Pedro, Los Genoveses and Monsul are essential stops on passage.
Levante coves
Between Garrucha and Águilas the coast alternates volcanic cliffs, bays and quiet anchorages. Ideal for sailboats and motor craft on day trips.
Seafood and gastronomy
Red prawns, lobster stew, sardine espetos and market-fresh fish. The Almería coast is a culinary destination in its own right.
